I was nine years old when my Aunt Ellie gave me a Kodak Brownie camera on a blustery Thanksgiving morning. I lost all track of time exploring how I could see the world through the camera's lens. Not until my Mom demanded I come inside and sit down for dinner did I put down my first camera.
I believe that taking control of your camera can inspire "creative confidence." I love to teach photography and storytelling to kids and adults. I encourage everyone to shoot on manual mode and to use Lightroom and Photoshop software to make their pictures not only better in the moment but retrievable
in the future.
